Downtown's "Munn Park"is enjoyed year around by young and old alike!. Many events are hosted here like... the "Garden Extravaganza", "Annual Hispanic Festival", St. Patrick's Day, Spring Obsession (arts & music) "Arts on the Park", "Light the Night", as well as many other family & civic events. |

Several "outside" dinning restaurants and cafes border the downtown park..... but my all time favorite downtown place to eat is the Dona Maria mexican restaurant straight across from the park on Main St. Yum, yum.... it's sooooo good! |

Just a waddle to the south of Munn Park is Lakeland's famous Antique District. Dozens of small sidewalk shops and large free standing buildings here bring people from all over to spend a pleasant afternoon hunting antique treasures. Lloyds of Lakeland shown below left and Brooke's Pottery store below. |
